Nelson Place PTO Mission Statement
The mission of the Nelson Place School Parent Teacher Organization is:

• to promote the growth and education of children by creating connections among parents, teachers and community organizations;
• to encourage parents to volunteer in the school or for the school as their time and talents allow; and
• to inform parents, teachers and staff about parent concerns and ideas to ensure that the children's school experience remains challenging and creative.

Debora Connor PTO Vice President

Debora graduated from Assumption College and is a Senior Business Analyst with The Hanover Insurance Group.  This is her first year as Vice President of the PTO and second year on the Nelson Place Site Council.  Debora and her husband Chris have two boys, Ryan and Patrick, who attend Nelson Place.

Tony Economou PTO Treasurer

Tony Economou is in the top six of all Worcester REALTORS in single family home sales, having sold approximately $14,000,000 in real estate the last 2 years. He is in the top two in sales in the Worcester RE/MAX office and was nominated by his peers for the prestigious REALTORS Choice Award. Tony has designations as REALTOR, Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Certified New Home Specialist (CNHS).

Tony attended Johnson and Wales University and Assumption College. He has been Vice President of the North Worcester Business Association for the past 5 years and was awarded the Worcester Business Journal's "40 Under 40 Award" in 2003 as a successful business person and community participant. He has donated generously to many important organizations including The Children's Miracle Network, Hospitals Helping Kids and The Greater Worcester Food Bank.

Tony was the 2004-2005 president of the Nelson Place PTO who is assuming equally important duties as treasurer. He continues to draw on his strong business and community background, as well as his experience as an involved parent, to build on the success of this energetic group. Tony is married to Maureen and they have 2 boys, Nelson Place students Kyle and Drew. He has lived in Worcester for 39 years .

Tamie Endow PTO Secretary

Tamie Endow is in her first year as Secretary of the Nelson Place PTO yet has a long history of being an active participant in the organization. Tamie is Director of Operations for Forte Enterprises LLC, is on the Nelson Place Site Council and Team Manager for Girls U-12 FC United Soccer Team. Tamie and her husband, Jon, have two daughters: Nelson Place 5th grader Tori and Marissa who is beginning 8th grade at Forest Grove Middle School.
