The Student Activities Committee organizes SPREE Day, obtains project fair awards, and more!
THIS YEAR'S DATE IS: Friday, June 11th, 2010 !!!
SPREE DAY
SPREE Day is held in early June
and consists of an awesome day of rides, face painting, educational
magic and more for all grades! P arent volunteers will be needed to
set up, clean up, face painting, monitor the inflatable slide, Moonwalk,
and Sport Challenge game. Others will be needed
to make cotton candy and sno-cones. A schedule will come home
for you to sign up in any area for any 1 hour time slot (or more!!)
where you are available to help.
SPREE DAY 2010
Friday, June 11th
Help our Nelson Place students celebrate a super year with this fun filled day!!
Students will attend a Magic show in the gym performed by Magic World!
Grades K-3 will attend in the morning
Grades 4-6 will attend in the afternoon
Students will also go outside to the back playground and enjoy various activities:
Inflatable Slides, Moonwalk, Snow-Cones, Cotton Candy and more! Grades 4-6 go outside 9:30-11:30am/Grades K-3 go outside 12:30-2:30pm
Free hot dogs will be served at lunch. Students should bring their own drinks. (School lunch will also be served and students may bring their own bag lunch if they wish).
Volunteers are needed! Please return the slip below by Monday May 24th, to your child’s teacher if
you are able to help out. One slip per family is fine. Volunteers will be provided coffee and pastry in the morning and a lunch of pizza, salad and soda from 11:30-12:30pm. Please join us for an hour, the morning, the afternoon or
the entire day!! Any amount of time is greatly appreciated.

Also, I would appreciate any donations for the face painting table:
Face paints, crayons or sticks (Halloween Outlet and i-Party, A.C. Moore have these), Hair spray color, glitter, Q-tips, paper towels, paper or plastic bowls, small mirrors. These may be left in the office in advance.
