 The School Pride/Landscape Committee organizes cleanups on the school grounds, designs, installs and maintains plantings of all types to make Nelson Place beautiful. 

SPRING CLEANUP

Thank you to all the families who helped at our cleanup day on Sunday, April 26th. We had many new faces and the group did a super job getting the grounds tidied up before the ribbon cutting event. Thank you especially to Roger West and Dave Francis who have adopted the school yard as their own. Please take the time to pick up some trash when you visit the backyard of the school or field. If we each help a little, we can really make a difference.

Have some time? Some things that we could use:

• cut down weeds in areas surrounding parking lot
• cut down weeds behind gym
• pull weeds growing at various points through the asphalt
• pick up trash all over school grounds
• mow back field
• sweep or blow wood fiber back into playground area
• weed and general cleanup of perenials to left of gym
• clean up right side of the school along path to Ms Hebert's room
• tidy up garden near Ms Hebert's room
• pick up branches in wooded headed to ball field
