At Thanksgiving time, the PTO Operation Turkey Committee collects and distributes food for needy families. A notice will be sent home with your child and a box will be placed in each classroom to collect non-perishable food items.

OPERATION TURKEY BRINGS FOOD TO MANY

My deepest thanks to all who supported Operation Turkey this year.  We had lots of generous food donations, financial donations, physical help from the students and Mr. Earl, who brought the contributions down from the classrooms and the "Mom Brigade" who sorted the food for distribution!  Because of your kind support, we were able to give gifts of food and  Shaw's grocery cards to ten families in our Nelson Place Community!!!  Congratulations on a job well done!   Gretchen Switzer, Operation Turkey, chair, 2008.
