The Hospitality Committee handles cards and gifts for staff events during the year such as new babies, bereavement, get well, Secretary's Day, etc.

The Committee also takes care of lunches for enrichment guests, corsages for our teacher's who organize the Holiday Show and similar events and teacher appreciation and retirement functions. The committee also provides refreshments for the Kindergarten Open House in May.

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week

May 3 thru May 7

The Nelson Place PTO Hospitality committee is pleased to announce that this year we will be holding events/and activities throughout the week of May 3-May 7 to show our Teachers and Staff how much they are appreciated. 

The annual Teacher/Staff Appreciation Breakfast will take place on Wednesday May 5 from 8a.m.-9a.m in the Library. This meal is always a success thanks to the wonderful families, volunteers, and great cooks at Nelson Place. 

We will be planning  a “Spring” theme for this years festivities. More information and signup sheets will be coming home after April vacation!  Please feel free to contact Deb Steigman at 508-753-6419, or Kristi Lewandowski 508-854-1031 with any questions and/or suggestions, thank you.

Monday, May 3rd: Flower Day - each student should bring a flower for their teacher.

Wednesday, May 5th: Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

Friday, May 7th: Students bring in a letter or drawing in appreciation of their teacher (s) to say thank you for all their help!
